Features
- Data Studio column and filter tools now show data origin: When building queries or filters, each column and data source now displays which object/table it comes from (shown as “Object → Property” with hover tooltips), making it much easier to tell fields apart when working with data pulled from multiple sources.
- Data source panel shows origin details: The panel listing primary and secondary data sources now shows where each source’s data originates, with a loading indicator while that information loads.
- Expanded filter options in Data Studio: Added more filter operator choices when building queries, with updated input handling to match.
- Consistent sorting on data tables: Numeric columns across all tables now default to sorting largest-to-smallest when first clicked, matching the more intuitive behavior previously available only in select areas.
- Audience list status icon corrected: The “kept up to date” indicator on audience lists now reflects whether the list is actually on a scheduled update, instead of a separate/unrelated flag.
Performance
- Faster data source and column lookups: Origin information in Data Studio now uses a cached lookup, reducing repeated processing time as users browse columns and sources.
- Faster ad detail view: Google Responsive Search Ads detail panel now opens using already-loaded data instead of making a fresh network request, cutting down wait time.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed carousel/slider display glitch: A slider component (e.g., page tabs/filters) could incorrectly hide itself when its items didn’t fully fill the available space; it now sizes and displays correctly regardless of item count.
