Features
- JSON data is now first-class in Data Studio and Records. Nested JSON fields can be added as their own columns, filtered, sorted, and previewed — including a full-record side panel, array-index columns (e.g. picking one item out of a list field), and property-qualified labels so it’s clear which source a field came from.
- “Start a data set from this object” — a new one-click entry point on data model objects (and the records list) that opens Data Studio pre-loaded with that object as the source, instead of building a data set from scratch.
- Previous-period comparison is now available on more pages, including the analytics scoreboard with a custom date range, not just the main dashboard.
- Facebook pixel setup is now surfaced directly in audience segment creation/editing, with a dedicated “Add Facebook” action alongside the existing bulk actions.
- New property administration tools in Settings: admins can edit property details, change/activate/deactivate status, and manage properties across accounts from one place, with a dedicated edit panel and status tracking.
Performance
- Saving property changes in the new admin property tool now refreshes the list in parallel rather than sequentially, so updates reflect faster after a save.
Bug Fixes
- Account/property switching: fixed cases where switching accounts could silently stay on the old account’s data, where switching to an account with no properties got “stuck” on Data Studio, and where opening a shared link to a specific data object while viewing another object switched the account but left the wrong object showing.
- Filters: “Contains (case-insensitive)” and several other filter options were being silently dropped from search/filter requests, effectively ignoring the filter entirely — this is fixed.
- Column pickers: “Select all” / “Clear all” in Data Studio and Records column and filter menus now only affect the columns/options currently shown by search, instead of also touching hidden ones.
- Breadcrumb dropdowns: fixed long names getting clipped/cut off, and cleaned up a visual glitch where the dropdown arrow showed as a dark icon inside a stray white box.
- Automated email: fixed several issues when editing an existing automated email, where the previously selected audience wouldn’t show correctly, audience previews could fail to update, and audience searches could fetch duplicate or stale results.
- Email editor: fixed newly added images not showing up in the preview, along with several sidebar/menu scrolling and resizing glitches and preview content getting hidden behind an overlay.
- Previous-period comparison: fixed a duplicate line item appearing when comparing against a prior period.
- Reporting: fixed number-formatting errors in campaign performance tables that could show incorrect or malformed values.
