Features
- More powerful Data Studio query builder: Data Studio now runs on a new query engine that makes building reports more flexible and predictable:
- Choose for each column whether it groups your results or is summarized (Count, Count distinct, Sum, Average and more), and only see the calculations that make sense for that type of data.
- Filter on calculated values (for example, “only show groups with more than 10 leads”), with inputs that match the calculation, including relative dates.
- Combine filters with your choice of AND or OR between each condition.
- Results modes are clearer, so you can switch between a detailed, summarized or expanded view of the same data without losing your work.
- Columns from joined data sources are clearly labeled, and summary columns get readable names based on what they calculate.
- Changing the main data source now reshapes the query around it, and custom joins between data sources are better supported.
- Columns and calculations are managed in a side panel next to the column list instead of replacing it.
- Duplicate datasets: A new Duplicate option on the Datasets page makes an exact copy of a dataset in one click, automatically numbered (e.g. “Leads (2)”).
- Safer shared Data Studio links: Opening a shared Data Studio link now starts a new dataset from that setup instead of editing the sender’s original, so recipients can no longer overwrite someone else’s work. Save errors also now explain clearly when a dataset name is already taken.
- Shareable Records views: Every Records view can now be shared with a link. The “Copy link to view” option in view settings is now active, and anyone opening the link sees the view as it was saved.
- New CarNow website vendor: CarNow is now available as a website provider when creating a property, and the provider list is sorted alphabetically.
Performance
- Faster Data Studio loading: Data Studio no longer re-downloads the same field information repeatedly and avoids running the same query twice, so reports respond faster.
- Smoother loading in Data Studio results: The results table stays on screen while new data loads, with placeholder rows instead of a full-page spinner, and re-ordering columns refreshes the table rather than clearing it.
Bug Fixes
- Records quick filters now search only the column being filtered, so looking up a name no longer returns unrelated values from other fields.
- Using the in-app Back button from a record now returns you to the view you were on, keeping any unsaved changes, instead of resetting to the default view.
- Fixed an error that could stop segments from being promoted between environments, and environment updates now report a failure instead of appearing to succeed.
- When editing a property, the current website vendor is now correctly pre-selected, a duplicate vendor option was removed, and a failed vendor assignment no longer leaves a wrong selection behind.
- Data Studio fixes: renaming a column now saves properly and opens with the cursor in the name field, summary columns can be sorted, deleting a column removes it from grouping too, older saved datasets convert cleanly with their filters intact, and results no longer show outdated rows after the query changes.
