Introducing the Orbee Platform Console, an update to our Orbee Platform Helper with a new look! The Platform Console is your one-stop shop for efficiently managing website scripts and auditing website events. It meticulously records vital details including script domains, tokens, environment settings (be it production or test), account IDs, and property specifics. Additionally, it adeptly tracks token IDs for events occurring across both your main website and embedded iframes.
The Orbee Platform Console can also enable seamless event tracking and segment filtering, integrating smoothly with third-party platforms such as Facebook and Pinterest, thus offering a holistic view of website events being fired. The Redirect Domain functionality is particularly noteworthy, significantly simplifying the process of bulk script distribution.
Moreover, the platform adeptly captures essential user data through the Orbee cookie. This includes the visit ID, the duration of each visit, and the types of campaign mediums interacted with, providing you with insightful data to understand and enhance customer journeys more effectively.
New Features
Additional to the updated user interface and enhancements, we also added new features such as:
View Vehicle Section: This section displays vehicles that a user has viewed in real-time, including pictures and links to the website.
Plugin Management: The console allows viewing and testing different plugins loaded onto a site, facilitating a better workflow.
Environment Management: Users can set, remove, and test different environment scripts, like staging or test scripts, to ensure correct functionality before going live.
In the Orbee Platform Console, efficient API key management is paired with monitoring and troubleshooting tools which simplifies the creation and management of API keys. Simultaneously, the platform's monitoring capabilities ensure effective oversight of website scripts. Users can quickly identify and address issues, particularly those related to script performance and multi-task by having multiple windows open for different environments. This integrated approach to API management and system monitoring ensures a seamless and secure user experience, maintaining optimal website functionality and quick resolution of any technical concerns.
Install the Orbee Platform Console
Step 0: Install The Orbee Analytics Script
- For the Orbee Platform Console to work, you must install Orbee's Analytics Script onto your website. Visit app.orbee.com/#/signup to create a free account and to install the script.

Step 1: Download the Extension
- Search for “Orbee Platform Console” in the Chrome Web Store and click “Add to Chrome”.
Step 2: Add to Your Browser
- Confirm the addition of the extension to your browser by clicking "Add" or "Install" in the pop-up window.
Step 3: Pin for Easy Access
- After installation, click the Extensions icon (looks like a puzzle piece) in your browser and pin the Orbee Console for quick access.
Step 4: Enter API Key (Optional)
- Open the Orbee Console extension.
- If you have an API key, enter it in the 'Settings' for full features. If not, follow the prompts to create one.
- Without the API key, users can still access most features of the Orbee Platform Console including the following pages: summary, event/token, viewed vehicles, user, settings, and site links. On the other hand, API key is required to access the SDK plugins page.
